Overall market view
Recommendation reach and first choice are different signals.
HubSpot entered more recommendation sets, while the gap in explicit first-choice credit between HubSpot and Salesforce was narrow. A broad-consideration leader is not automatically the first choice for every buyer.

Scope before conclusion
What this benchmark does and does not measure.
This is an exploratory measurement of one OpenAI Responses API configuration with web search available. It records AI answer behavior, not buyer behavior, consumer ChatGPT behavior, sales, market share, or cross-provider consensus.
Recommendation rate uses eligible answers as its denominator. Several products can be recommended in one answer, so product rates do not sum to 100%.
